Resistance Training with Hand Weights

Why do it?

Resistance or strength training is the perfect complement to any yoga practice. Build bone, shape and tone muscles and improve cardio using small hand weights that are ideal for you.

Toned muscles will help you to maintain yoga poses longer and provide you with the added strength to explore the more challenging poses. Muscle will also burn more calories than fat even while at rest!

Wear a pair of clean soled sneakers and bring a water bottle and your yoga mat for a fun-filled 45 minutes. Weights are provided.
